Re-caps

Well start with the personal first. I was able to talk to Alex last night and explain why I wasn't happy and falling all over myself rushing to get married. We are going to do the rush job JOP (I still don't plan on doing much of anything for it) but we will plan a real wedding later. (maybe not next spring but the one after (gotta give a girl time to plan and make stuff as well as save money and lose weight) and spring assumes we don't change it). Sorry for the dramatics. I really need to think a bit harder before posting for the world to see. I've got a bit of stress and then having to deal with the girly stuff at the same time I don't think I'm in any shape right now.

But moving on

I LOVED Clerks II!! Very very funny!! I don't want to say much since it just opened yesterday and I don't want to be blamed for ruining anything but it's a very good movie!! Lame previews before it but what ever.
Manda and I also went to Jo-Ann's last night and did you know time seems to stop in the store and speed up outside? No? Me either. But I know have a 24x24 pillow and fabric to cover it. I just need to get thread (in all my excitement I failed to get matching thread) If Manda comes over today I'll ask her to bring her camera so I can take pics of the fabric and show you.

What if....

What if I said:

I'm getting married soon
I'm ashamed that it will be a Court House JOP deal
I don't want anyone there
I wont celebrate that anniversary date
I wont wear a dress or get dressed up for a Court House JOP
I'm pissed it's happening like this
I DON'T WANT to get married in August it's a disgusting month in Texas
I HATE the way the proposal was done if it was a proposal, I'm still not sure
I want to have a bachelorett party
I want a dress
I want my baby to be my Flower Girl
I want my 2 Matrons of honors my Maids of Honors and Bridesmaids
I want a ring
I want a small honest to goodness wedding and I don't care if it's all home made, I would like that more

Anyways.

Manda and I are going to try to get off work early to day to go see ClerksII and go fabric shopping for our sew along projects. Yay coupons from Jo-Ann's!

Saturday we are going out to Mom's old house to continue the work in progress of cleaning and fixing it up for rent/lease/sale. I think I'm also supposed to go with Alex that night to meet his lawyer. Sunday may see the continue of mom's old house but I need to go to the library and return Gabby's movie (she rented Rikki Tikki Tavi (did you know that the "movie" is only a 1/2 hour long?))

Sew what?

Well I've joined a sew along! I'm excited too!! It's at Sew? I knit! Next months sew along is a quilted item. I'm very new at the whole sewing thing, I have a whole whopping few pillows and 2 hairbands under my belt, and I have never ever quilted before. But I found a cute easy pattern at JoAnn's called Quick Quilted Floor Pillows. I need some for the Green Room so, I figure a pillow can't be that hard!!

About the headbands, they are from HelloMyNameisHeather, and I will have pics up soon.
